Last updated: 1 April 2026. Please read these Terms carefully before using optimadiagnostics.in or availing any diagnostic service from Optima Diagnostics. By using our website or services you agree to these Terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Optima Diagnostics, a medical diagnostic centre based at Opp. Ghungoor Police Outpost, S.M.C Road, Ghungoor, Silchar, Cachar, Assam - 788014, India. The Terms cover both your use of our website and your engagement with our diagnostic services.
The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You agree to use the website lawfully, not to interfere with its operation, not to attempt unauthorised access, and not to misuse content for any purpose that could mislead patients or harm public health.
All diagnostic tests and imaging studies offered by Optima Diagnostics are performed on the basis of a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner, except where a particular service is permitted on a self-referral basis under Indian law and clinical guidelines.
Optima Diagnostics is a diagnostic centre, not a treating clinic. We do not establish a doctor-patient treatment relationship by issuing a diagnostic report. Reports are intended to be interpreted by your treating physician along with your clinical history, examination and other tests, before any diagnosis or treatment decision is taken.
We accept walk-ins for most routine investigations. Appointments may be booked through phone, WhatsApp, our website form or in person. Slots are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, subject to clinical priority. We reserve the right to reschedule a slot for operational, technical or clinical reasons; in such cases we will notify you as early as possible.
Our tariffs are displayed at the centre and are available on request. Final pricing depends on the test ordered, sample type and any add-ons. Payment is due before the report is released, except for cashless or reimbursement arrangements with empanelled insurance providers and corporates. We accept cash, UPI, debit/credit cards and standard digital wallets.
Most routine reports are issued the same day; specialised tests follow standard processing timelines. Reports are dispatched on WhatsApp/email to the registered mobile number/email and a printed copy is available on request. While we make every effort to meet stated turnaround times, occasional delays may occur due to technical issues, sample quality, additional confirmation runs or external factors. We will keep you informed of any significant delay.
Diagnostic medicine is, by its nature, probabilistic. While we follow high standards of quality control, no test is 100% sensitive or 100% specific, and small variability is inherent to laboratory and imaging investigations. Optima Diagnostics' liability is limited to the cost of the test concerned. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or our services, except as required under applicable law.
The website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the content on the blog or service pages will be free of typographical errors or that it will reflect the most recent guideline changes at all times.
